A Lily-of-the-Valley Affirmation to See the Goodness Where it May Seem to Be Hiding

Every flower uplifts, and each variety of flower offers its own, unique take on loving, uplifting energy -- perfect to turbo-charge an affirmation.

The energy of the Lily-of-the-Valley (convallaria majalis) is a pure dance of joy, delighting in the beauty of everything in the world around us. But this shining light can be a bit hidden, like the light under the bushel. It represents the light in all of us that we do not allow to shine fully -- and the light in others that may not be evident at first glance.

Sometimes this light may not even seem to exist in ourselves or others, but it always does. Always. Sometimes we have to be more persistent in our desire to see this light than others.

Thus, the Lily-of-the-Valley is a great flower to think about in relation to people or situations in your life that might not seems so wonderful on the surface -- where their goodness may seem to be hiding from you.

You can picture a Lily-of-the-Valley superimposed over any person who seems to be difficult in your life. Allow yourself to see the light and goodness shining out of each of the little bells as a part of that person. The light is there, always. It is just a matter of adjusting our eyes/our thinking to see it.

And, when we do that extra work, to see the beautiful light and goodness that IS in ourselves and others, we feel the joy of their cheerful dance.

A Lily-of-the-Valley Affirmation:
I always see the goodness in myself and others, and even if it takes a little effort -- it is worth it.
